Segway - that is a whole new way of moving. You stand between two wheels on a platform and can hold onto a handlebar. Acceleration, steering and brakes are all done by corresponding shifts in weight. Segway does the rest for you.

Visit to Kohle-Bahnhof (coal railway station) in Scheiben, including museum guide and a ride through Hausruck forest.
A bike on rails? That's what you will find at the historic train station in Scheiben - and not just to look at! By muscle power you can speed around with a railway bike on the rails of the former coal mine.
Pass the impressive natural scenery of Hausruck forest, the route leads through a tunnel with tyres and wood timber until you finally arrive back in the station building. And those who would prefer it to be comfortable can be chauffeured through the area by diesel locomotive in the small wagon of the "Grubenschlupf-Express". During a museum tour you will be introduced to the life revolving around the mining industry in Scheiben - yesteryear and today.

The theme path in Wallern "Reformation - on the path"
As part of the national exhibition in 2010 in Grieskirchen the Protestant Church in Wallern created an interesting 10-station path, where - nestled in a beautiful landscape - which shows the rich history of the Protestants in Wallern . The start of the theme path is the Protestant community centre in Wallern.
Walking on the path is free. A small fee must be paid for the tour which will provide you with all the interesting information.

Castle hike from Parz Castle including renaissance garden to Tollet Castle
Last but not least, known through the regional exhibition 2010 with the theme „Renaissance und Reformation“, Parz Castle near Grieskirchen with the adjacent castle with moat is one of the most significant renaissance buildings in Upper Austria.
The newly created renaissance garden along the south side of the castle with a facade decorated by a significant Protestant cycle of frescoes provides an ideal opportunity for rest, relaxation and meditation. It is the largest integrated wall fresco of the Renaissance north of the Alps. Today there are function rooms, seminar rooms and a cafe (groups by appointment). Tollet Castle, which is located 5 km away, was first mentioned in documents in 1170 was built after 1607.
In the 19th Century, the renaissance building was fully restructured. During the castle tour a certified Austria guide will bring you closer to the history of the two Renaissance castles.

"Luisenhöhe" including high ropes forest park, summer toboggan-run and the trail of senses
Those looking for adventure, can find it in the high ropes forest park Goruck in Haag am Hausruck. Supervised by qualified instructors, you will move on rope bridges and exercises in four different difficulty levels. Rounded off the trail of the senses where you can enjoy sense and experience nature and with a ride on the summer toboggan-run the adventure on the Luisenhöhe in Haag am Hausruck does not seem to end.

Guided history trail through Bad Schallerbach
Experience the history of Bad Schallerbach with its mineral springs up close!
During a guided tour you will learn more about the discovery of the sulphur source and the development as a health resort. From its source in Botanica Park, the trail leads through the town centre to Rathausplatz. It concludes with a visit to the Gothic Church of Magalenaberg with a panoramic terrace on Bad Schallerbach.

Schmugglergaudi in Haag am Hausruck
It means "be careful" from the landmark in Hausruck forest. Even today, the customs officers have to deliver smuggled goods. The local experts called "Schwärzer“" try to bring the group safely across the green border. A few have already managed it!
