Bad Schallerbach botanica park

The Eurothermen park was transformed into a unique oasis of relaxation for the “Botanica 2009” horticultural show. Wheelchair-friendly paths invite you to walk through the gorgeous park landscape with its water features, meditation gardens, water lily ponds, mazes and great playgrounds for children.

Tips for the summer

The main attraction for young visitors is the children’s farm with petting zoo, a tractor course and pony riding. There is also a café for adults.

Gallspach spa gardens

The lovingly maintained spa gardens are located next to the Zeileis health care centre. In the summer gardens you can enjoy a diverse cultural programme, or take a relaxing walk along the wheelchair-friendly paths at any time of year.

Leithen swimming lake -
Geboltskirchen

The swimming lake covers a total area of 30,000 square metres and measures 4.5 metres at its deepest point. As well as being a place to swim in the summer, it also offers a place to come and relax all year round. Fishing enthusiasts are also welcome.

Weg Trail of the senses -
Haag am Hausruck

Experience, feel and enjoy nature on the “trail of the senses”. This extraordinary themed route covers a distance of 3.5 kilometres from the valley station of the summer toboggan run, and passes by 25 stations in the Hausruck forest. The 32 metre high panoramic look-out awaits you at the end of the pathway.

Trattnach nature trail -
Wallern

The trail leads you over 2.5 kilometres from Wallern along the Trattnach into the nearby Bad Schallerbach. 22 display boards give an insight into the diversity of the beautiful area around the Trattnach and provide information about ecological connections between the regional flora and fauna. Benches and tables invite you to take a break and enjoy a picnic.
