Castles and museums – pure culture in the Vitalwelt!
Mentioned for the first time in 1776, the picturesque castle in Haag am Hausruck possesses a wonderful Renaissance courtyard and is also home to the local museum. The museum houses exhibits from the former brown coal mining industry, illustrates country life with the tools of our forefathers and has the best locally produced handicrafts with their guilds. You can also learn about the time of the peasant wars and Emperor Napoleon.
