AusZeit - the sauna mountain village

Leave everyday life outside and feel good for a few hours. That’s no problem at the “Relaxium” sauna world – designed as a mountain village with numerous attractions.

Relaxium was generously extended during the rebuilding of Tropicana. As well as the numerous existing attractions, sauna enthusiasts can now enjoy a lounging area with new conservatories and, as a particular highlight, the new 34oC outdoor sauna thermal pool. The pool and the existing mountain lake and whirlpool can be used in the nude. A sauna attraction in a form not available in Austria until now! The mountain village The sauna free area was designed as a unique mountain village with different themed saunas and Relaxium pools. * Mine sauna Go down into the dimly lit sauna and enjoy the mystical atmosphere with a small blazing fire and a pleasant 75°C temperature. * Alpine cabin sauna Constructed from up to 500 year old Nordic pines, this sauna captivates through its authentic style. Sauna attendants douse the stones at 85°C every hour. * Tree house sauna Austria’s most innovative sauna attraction, enthroned in a mighty tree trunk, offers various “forest experience steam rituals” and a wonderful view of the Relaxium mountain village. * Nude swimming lake and plunge pool The nude swimming lake is equipped with a counter-current system and offers a refreshing swimming experience at a temperature of 26°C, while the plunge pool with its temperature of 12°C is the perfect place to cool down after a session in the sauna. * Nude thermal pool The absolute highlight is the new 34oC outdoor sauna thermal pool. All sauna guests can come and swim in the nude and relax in the jacuzzi – a wholly new experience in Austria! Further highlights As well as the sauna free area there are many more highlights at the Relaxium. Enjoy the different relaxation saunas with their varying temperature and humidity or relax together in one of the three aromatic caves. Purify and detox your body in the brine steam room, strengthen your immune system in the infra-red heat cabin, or start a 20 minute relaxation programme with music, sunshine, sea and tropical rain in the Fitarium. Whereas the two whirlpools in the indoor and outdoor areas are beneficial for your organism, the themed relaxation areas, music room and room with a fireplace provide a pleasant sense of calm.
