The bull woman Roswitha Nickl was born on May 1, 1960 in Geboltskirchen/Upper Austria.

She discovers her love of painting at a very early age. Thus, at the tender age of 12, she wins a children's painting competition in Innsbruck. Since at that time it was not exactly common for a woman to pursue an artistic career, the lack of suitable schools also contributing to this, Roswitha Nickl begins her professional life as a saleswoman.
In 1983 son Christian is born. Today he supports his mother in all her activities and is a valuable help to her in many ways.

However, she never lets go of her passion for painting - she paints for herself and friends.
In 1985, she begins to devote herself more intensively to her great hobby again.

She attends courses with renowned artists and perfects her techniques during painting trips through Europe.
In 2001 she finds her great private happiness with Hubert 'Hubsi' Huemer. The HT1 founder and media and marketing expert naturally encourages her passion and Roswitha Nickl turns her great passion into her second profession. She opens her studio in Gallspach/Upper Austria.

Since 2001, the artist is successfully represented at exhibitions and vernissages in Austria, Italy and Germany.

After a serious car accident (2003), which was not her fault, her paintings become even more expressive and also very personal.
The successful sales and the multiple, positive response to her paintings motivate Roswitha Nickl to deal more and more intensively with painting.
A special need for her since the accident and a subsequent illness is to pass on her love of art as "occupational therapy" to others - her painting courses are usually fully booked.
Roswitha Nickl's painting techniques range from realism to abstract art. A well-known artist colleague once put it this way: "Variety is Roswitha Nickl's trademark".
