Church in Schönau

In the course of the renovation works of 1965-1966, the church´s interior was refurbished as well.

The mosaic altarpiece depicts the life of St Peter and was designed by Prof. Max Spielmann, Innsbruck. Likewise the six Peter images, the Stations of the Cross (cellular enamel) and the design for the popular altar, ambo and tabernacle.

The church of Schönau is the former parish church of Bad Schallerbach. Since 1950 it has been used as graveyard church.
