Re-Printing History – A printing workshop tracing the footsteps of the forgotten heroines of the Peasants’ War

01.05.2026 / 15:00- 18:00
Haag am Hausruck, Mülikoasahof
Vorträge, Seminar, Workshop

Why do historical narratives mostly feature men? The “Re-Printing History” project by the women artists’ collective magggi brings to light what has long remained hidden: the history of women.

In free workshops, participants will collaborate to create fictional biographies and woodcuts in order to give a face to the unknown women of the Peasants’ War. The resulting works will be exhibited at the Haager Heimatmuseum Schloss Starhemberg and at the Furthmühle Pram.
