The "Path of the Senses" on Luisenhöhe in Haag am Hausruck engages both children and adults in exploring the senses of smell, taste, hearing, touch, and sight. Covering a 3.5-kilometer walking trail, families are invited to actively participate in 25 stations. The barefoot course grounds the feet, the sound cone sharpens the ears. The optical discs challenge the eyes, while the scents of the forest caress the nose. The goal of the hike is to reach the lookout tower on Luisenhöhe.
PANORAMIC VIEW FROM THE VIEWING TOWER
The viewing tower at the summit of Luisenhöhe, located in the heart of Hausruckwald, is the final stop on the "Path of the Senses." The 32-meter-high wooden tower offers a magnificent panoramic view in all directions on clear days: Enjoy the wonderful panoramic vista from Ötscher in Lower Austria to Dachstein and Salzburger Untersberg, as well as from Innviertel across Böhmerwald to the central region of Upper Austria.
