The museum of the district heritage association Grieskirchen KULTURAMA Castle Tollet is located in Castle Tollet near Grieskirchen, whose history dates back to the year 1170, when the first fortification was built under Ortlof von Tollet. The KULTURAMA offers its visitors changing exhibitions as well as events that correspond to the exhibition topics.
On April 23, 2009, the KULTURAMA Museum Schloss Tollet opened its doors after extensive renovation work in anticipation of the Upper Austrian State Exhibition "Reformation and Renaissance." It primarily focuses on temporary exhibitions covering a variety of topics. As part of the state exhibition, the District Heritage House Association presented the accompanying exhibition "Perspectives - The Jörger of Tollet and Their Era," which shed light on the noble family of the Jörger of Tollet.
Apart from the exhibition activities, the museum association is intensively engaged in re-archiving the exhibits. Numerous cultural events complement the museum program.
