Experience nature on the Path of the Senses

The "Path of the Senses" on the Luisenhöhe in Haag am Hausruck puts children and adults alike on the trail of smelling, tasting, hearing, feeling and seeing. On a 3.5-kilometre walk, families are invited to become active themselves at 25 stations. The barefoot trail grounds the feet, the listening funnel sharpens the ear. The optical discs put the eye to the test, while the scents of the forest caress the nose. The goal of the hike is the observation tower on Luisenhöhe.

 

Observation Tower Panoramic View

The observation tower at the summit of the Luisenhöhe in the middle of the Hausruckwald is the last stop on the "Path of the Senses". On a clear day, the 32-metre-high wooden tower offers a magnificent panoramic view in all directions: Look forward to the wonderful panoramic view from the Lower Austrian Ötscher over the Dachstein to the Salzburg Untersberg as well as from the Innviertel over the Bohemian Forest to the Upper Austrian central region.

 

Landlblick Viewing Platform

The "Landlblick" viewing platform offers visitors a fascinating view of Haag and the Hausrucklandl region. The wooden barrier-free viewing platform with 20 m² is located at the end of the Path of the Senses. Those interested in nature will find descriptions of the various tree species and woods.

GoRuck forest high ropes course

If you're looking for a sporting adventure, you're guaranteed to find it at the "GoRuck" forest high ropes course. Supervised by trained instructors, you move between the treetops at different levels of difficulty and height. A continuous safety system awaits you in seven courses of varying difficulty.
