The ultimate excursions for the semester break

Vacation at last! After the stress of schoolwork over the past few weeks, a week's breather is just what you need. You can find all the highlights of the Vitalwelt holiday region summarised here.

We wish you a wonderful vacation!

Aquapulco - the pirate world

Water rats get their money's worth in the pirate world Aquapulco. Aquapulco consists of different adventure areas for parents with babies, lively children and adventurous teenagers and young-at-heart adults. In the water park, 5 adventure slides, a pirate bay with sea wave pool and adventure boat, a 5D cinema, an adventure path, a baller-baller deck, a baby bay and a pirate show await the whole family.

Schmiding Zoo & Aquazoo

There is hardly any other zoo where visitors can get as close to the animals as at Schmiding Zoo. From elegant giraffes and Siberian tigers to vultures in the walk-in bird of prey enclosure and Austria's only gorillas, this zoo has the right animal for every taste. Sea lovers will get their money's worth at the Aquazoo. In the huge marine aquarium you can meet reef sharks, a gigantic sea turtle and many other fish such as anemone fish and surgeon fish.

Indoor Golf

The golf simulator is a good alternative when the weather is bad, for practising your stroke accuracy or for getting to know a new sport. In use is a brand new QED Uneekor golf simulator. The outstanding feature of this simulator is that the ball spin is not calculated but measured with 3000 fps cameras, thus achieving a degree of reality of 99.5%. Our indoor golf simulator, with state-of-the-art software, is regularly updated with new courses via internet connection! In addition, you can also perform swing, club head and ball flight analysis, which work very well for long and short game.

Trail of the Senses and Observation Tower on the Luisenhöhe Adventure Mountain

The "Trail of the Senses" on the Luisenhöhe in Haag am Hausruck puts children and adults alike on the trail of smelling, tasting, hearing, feeling and seeing. On a 3.5-kilometre walk, families are invited to become active themselves at 25 stations. The goal of the walk is the observation tower on the Luisenhöhe. On clear days, the 32-metre-high wooden tower offers a magnificent distant view in all directions: Look forward to the wonderful panoramic view from the Lower Austrian Ötscher over the Dachstein to the Salzburg Untersberg as well as from the Innviertel over the Bohemian Forest to the Upper Austrian central region.

Wallern Active Park

Along the Trattnachtal nature trail is the Wallern Aktiv Park. The content of the stations is based on the findings of training theory and the current state of knowledge on motor learning. The interaction of the equipment with the surrounding nature creates special and unforgettable movement experiences. The many individual pieces of equipment allow EVERYONE - from children to the elderly, from beginners to professional athletes - to experience fun and excitement.

Brunch & breakfast during the holidays

The most important meal of the day is also served all day and on weekends in many establishments. Traditional Austrian with croissants, jam and ham, or modern and international with pancakes, bagels, French toast, Eggs Benedict and porridge in all imaginable variations are on the menus of our breakfast establishments.
