At Zoo Schmiding, visitors can experience the animals up close like in hardly any other zoo. From lively giraffes to Siberian tigers and Austria's only gorillas, there is a suitable animal for every taste in this zoo. One can encounter vultures and eagles with wingspans of up to 3 meters up close in the world's largest walk-through raptor aviary.

Pure jungle atmosphere awaits in the Tropical House - lush tropical vegetation, colorful birds, lazy crocodiles, cheeky monkeys, and sloths impress in this habitat.

In the Aquazoo, marine enthusiasts will get their money's worth. In the huge marine aquarium, you can encounter reef sharks, a 110 kg sea turtle, as well as many other fascinating water inhabitants such as piranhas, clownfish, and surgeonfish.

At the Evolution Museum, you can embark on an exciting journey through time: from dinosaurs and artifacts from ancient cultures to current topics such as artificial intelligence and robotics.

Children can find fun and action on three adventure playgrounds. A 100m² jumping trampoline, an 8-meter-high slide tower, a zip line, and a pirate ship make children's hearts beat faster.
