Summer In The City — Summer Hits from Baroque to Today
In its new special program “Summer In The City,” the Feuerbach Quartet brings holiday vibes. Tailored for summer festivals and open-air concerts, the Feuerbach Quartet addresses the summer hits of recent decades — indeed even centuries — in its refreshingly cheeky manner. Thus, “I’m Walking On Sunshine” meets the baroque fireworks music of G. F. Handel, George Harrison's “Here Comes The Sun” gets humorously translated by Rammstein with “Hier kommt die Sonne” — and Antonio Vivaldi's “Four Seasons” has a summery rendezvous with Joe Cocker and the Lovin’ Spoonfuls. 

Feuerbach Quartet
Founded in 2013, the Feuerbach Quartet is today synonymous with innovative adaptations of demanding modern rock and pop music for classical string quartet.

What began as an idea is now truly a little sensation on concert stages across Europe, with more than 100 engagements annually. There are no barriers whether in the classical concert hall or at a pop open-air event, not at the industrial gala and not in the small socio-cultural center…

The Feuerbach Quartet succeeds like no other ensemble in directly transferring its passion and joy for music to the audience.
