Grey cheese patties with crunch topping and Paradiso herb garden salad

Ingredients

Grey cheese patties for 4 servings

  • 200 g grey cheese or quargel
  • 100 g onion
  • 120 g oat flakes
  • 3 eggs
  • 120 g sunflower seeds
  • Chives
  • Parsley
  • Tarragon
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Nutmeg

 

Crunch Topping

various seeds and nuts

 

Paradiso Herb Garden Lettuce

  • Fresh lamb's lettuce
  • Fresh herbs
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp water
  • Salt

Preparation

 

Finely chop the onion and lightly fry. Mix together the grey cheese, onion, oat flakes, eggs, sunflower seeds and chives, parsley and tarragon. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Leave the mixture to stand overnight. The next day, form patties and fry them on both sides until crispy.

Good to know: Grey cheese or Quargel are both sour milk cheeses. They are recommended for athletes and connoisseurs. With one of the lowest fat values and highest protein values, this one trumps the podium of sports cheeses.

 

 

 

 


Lightly roast various nuts and seeds.
Then drizzle with a little cold pressed olive oil.

 

 

Whisk the marinade until it thickens.
Mix with the salad just before serving.
