Bad Schallerbach Winter Village
For the 9th time already, a magical landscape of huts is created in the middle of Bad Schallerbach, illuminating the entire town hall square in pre-Christmas splendour. The varied programme and the incomparable ambience make the winter village a popular meeting place for young and old.
Geboltskirchen Nativity Scene Trail
You are guaranteed to get into the pre-Christmas spirit in Geboltskirchen. From the first weekend in Advent, the Nativity Scene Trail is waiting to be explored. The 1.6-kilometre walk starts at the Ölerhaus. The walk is particularly beautiful in the evening, because the 17 nativity scenes are illuminated from 5 to 9 pm. The floating cot at the Mayrhuberteich is of course also illuminated. The nativity scenes on display come from the workshops of the Upper Austrian Nativity School.

"Who's peeking out of the weather house-Krampus or Father Christmas?"
By the beard of the weather man - what can we expect from the upcoming season? A weather advent calendar with winter messengers in nature, weather saints, customs figures around the Wild Hunt and weather experiences of the participants is the companion to the parks of the Vitalwelt Bad Schallerbach. Weather-elastic stops with light exercises to kick off an active new weather year and a programme preview for 2023 are harmonious companions in the run-up to Christmas.
Grieskirchen Town Hall Advent Calendar
Like every year, Grieskirchen is decorated with atmospheric Christmas lights. The town hall again hides 24 artistically designed motifs behind its closed windows. Every day at 6 p.m. (on 24.12.2021 already at 5 p.m.) a window is opened. Every day from 5 p.m. onwards, Bratwürstel, Bosner & Co are available to take away for the Advent Market Feeling-to-go at the Kirchenplatz.
Gallspach Window Roas
In the rather hectic time before Christmas, the Fensterlroasen in Gallspach are intended to convey a feeling of peace and contentment. Based on the principle of an Advent calendar, 24 shop windows are decorated and illuminated for Christmas.
Oriental cot in Bad Schallerbach
This year in Bad Schallerbach there is once again the unique opportunity to view an oriental nativity scene in a display in Badstraße! The cot was lovingly built and designed by August Heigl from Bad Schallerbach. The cot background was created by the cot maker and background painter Alfred Fleckstein from Germany.
Christkindl post box in Bad Schallerbach
What could be more exciting for children than writing a letter to the Christ Child themselves and dropping it into the Christ Child's personal post box? The "Golden Post Box" is freely accessible to all families from 26 November 2022 and is located directly at the Winter Village on Rathausplatz. For those who have not prescribed and designed the letter at home, templates can be used which are available directly at the little table next to the post box
